Ethics and the high horse

Mikkel Reymann Stephensen
Co-founder

We think ethics is important. That's our high horse. If we can all agree on ethics and a few basic rules, the playing field will be wide open.

We are building a community where photographers share their work and find gigs. We define a great community by agreeing on what we don't want it to become.

To ensure that Byrd is a great place to be, there are a few basic rules we’d like you to follow:

  • Play nice. Don't be a bully, don't ridicule, don't be cruel.
  • Don't put yourself or others in harms way.
  • Always offer help and assistance if necessary.
  • Always respect the people in and around the frame.
  • Respect and accept privacy. Byrd is not a paparazzi service.
  • Don't upload or take credit for something that isn't yours.
  • If you have any doubts, check our guidelines.

We like photographers and think they deserve to get rewarded for their work. Please help us make sure that only the right people get paid and praised. If you see something that doesn't belong on Byrd please flag it. We will review all of it!

Alright, that's it for now. Thanks for reading. If you have any comments or questions, send me an email or find us on Facebook and on Twitter.
